TCF affects website publishers showing ads, advertisers targeting websites that show ads with their campaigns and end users visiting websites and seeing ads from advertisers.
In this demo page we will demonstrate how TCF works by showing the advertising flow:
When an end user visits a publisher's website a cookie consent pop up appears with button options for the end user to edit their privacy options before viewing the website's content and ads. This is called a CMP or Consent Management Platform. The pop up always contains 3 button options:
In this Demo page we will demonstrate how TCF works by showing the advertising flow:
Once the end user has clicked on one of the buttons the following flow occurs depending on the button selected:
In the demo below you can see exactly how TCF works:
If as an end user you click the 'Show CMP' button, the popup window appears for Cookie Consent.
Clicking 'Allow All' will switch all Cookie Consent preferences on
Clicking 'Reject All' will not allow a Retargeted Ad to be displayed, instead a non Retargeted Ad will be shown to the end user
If the end user clicks on 'Confirm My Choices' this allows the end user to select only the Cookies they wish to consent to. Depending on their choices, they will see the Retargeted Ad or the non- Retargeted Ad.
If you click on the 'Clear Output' button, you will see the Cookies Preferences pop up once again.
If you click on the 'Show Output' button, you will see the code that is generated from the end user action
